Here's a step-by-step guide on how to set up a configurable product in Magento 2:


1). Login to Admin Panel:

Log in to your Magento 2 admin panel.

2). Navigate to Catalog -> Products:

Go to the admin sidebar, hover over "Catalog," and click on "Products."

3). Add a New Product:

Click on the "Add Product" button and choose "Configurable Product" from the dropdown.

4). General Information:

Fill in the general information for the product, such as name, SKU, price, and other relevant details.

5). Attribute Set:

Choose an appropriate attribute set for your product. This attribute set should include the attributes that you want to use for configuring the product, such as color, size, etc.

6). Configurations:

Scroll down to the "Configurations" section.

7). Create Configurations:

Click on the "Create Configurations" button. This will allow you to create the different variations of your configurable product.

8). Attribute Selection:

You will see a list of attributes that you can use to configure your product. Select the attributes that you want to configure your product by (e.g., color, size).

9). Configure Variations:

12). Save Configurations:

After setting up all the configurations, click the "Save Configurations" button.

13). Inventory Management:

14). Save Configurable Product:

Once you're done configuring all the variations, click the "Save" button to save the configurable product.

15). Frontend Display:

Once saved, the configurable product will be available on your Magento 2 storefront. Customers will be able to choose attributes like color and size from dropdowns, and the product image and other details will update based on their selections.
